One thing that you can do at Pasir Ris Park is camping. To do so you would need to apply for a camping permit. Furthermore you have to have a valid residential address and up to 6 people are allowed per tent. You are also allowed to camp for up to 4 days per month and your camping permit will be valid from 9 am  To make a booking you can do so using AXS either online or through their physical machines. Alternatively you can also check out the NParks website to apply for a camping permit.

  1. Enjoy a Barbecue 

Another fun activity that you can engage in at Pasir Ris Park is to enjoy a Barbecue there. You can do so by booking a barbecue pit through the AXS online portal or by using AXS machines. Alternatively you can head to the NParks website and access the Barbecue Pit Booking section for Pasir Ris Park here. Moreover it is important to note that you are allowed to use barbecue pits from 12 noon to 10.30 pm.

Yet another activity that you can indulge in is cycling at Pasir Ris Park, with the long cycling path within the park alongside the magnificent greenery, you’ll be sure to have a wonderful time whether you are cycling on your own or with friends or family.

  1. Kayaking

  1. Playing at the Playground

The next activity that can be done at Pasir Ris Park is something that both the young and the young at heart can enjoy and that is playing at the playground that has quite a few slides that will provide an unforgettably fun experience.

Notes: The Gallop Stable at Pasir Ris Park is closed on Mondays. Weekday Opening hours:10 to 11.30 am and 2.to 6 pm. Weekend Opening hours are 8 am to 11.30 am.
  1. Guided Intertidal Walks

An interesting activity that can be done at Pasir Ris Park is the viewing of sea creatures when the tide goes down during Guided Intertidal Walks conducted by organisations such as Young Nautilus. Their guided tour programs take place at different timings and either take place at the beach or near the Mangrove Walk in Pasir Ris Park. As the timing for low tides may vary on different days a great resource that you can use is the National Environment Agency (NEA) website that has information on low and high tide timings in Singapore here. With regards to the creatures you will be able to see in the intertidal zone, some of the sea creatures that you can catch a glimpse of include Eight Armed Sea Stars, Orange Sea Cucumbers and many more fascinating creatures. Notes: Young Nautilus has a variety of tour packages that cost $38 for  individual Adults, $36 for individual Children and $144 for groups of 4 people regardless of whether they are adults or children. The timings for the tours are indicated when you are selecting the tour package that you want.
  1. Birdwatching

Yet another fun activity related to admiring the fauna of Singapore that can be done at Pasir Ris Park is birdwatching. You can do this at the three story Birdwatching Tower located in the mangrove forest within Pasir Ris Park that can be accessed via the mangrove boardwalk.

How to get to Pasir Ris Park

There are a couple of ways in which you can get to Pasir Ris Park. They will be discussed in the following table:

By MRT and Bus You can take a train via the East-West Green Line and take the buses numbered 3,5, or 6 and alight at the Bus Stop number 78109 at Downtown East and walk into Pasir Ris Park that is just nearby.
Other modes of transport: Alternatively you can always take a car, taxi or Grab, Ride or Gojek vehicle to travel to Pasir Ris Park.
