.200 ml of water
.300 g of cabbage (cut into 2 inch square pieces)
.100 g of french beans (cut into 2 inch long pieces)

.A quarter teaspoon of salt

The Cooking Process
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and sauté onion and lemongrass for 1 minute till the onion softens, then add the blue ginger/galangal paste, garlic paste and sambal paste and sauté. After that add water and bring to a boil.
- Once the water starts boiling add your turmeric powder alongside all the prepared vegetables and tau kwa and bring everything to a boil again. Next add in coconut milk and slowly stir your mixture. After that, season your Sayur Lodeh mixture with salt and pepper.
- Let your Sayur Lodeh gravy simmer on low heat until your carrots are cooked.
- Serve your Sayur Lodeh with lontong rice cakes or any kind of cooked rice.
